"Easier to Leave" was inspired by all the challenges that we inevitably face within long term relationships. It was written in response to the many fears and anxieties that trickle into our day to day interactions causing inevitable arguments that seem to have no rational foundation.

Verse 1
It’s 3:35 in the morning
I’m lying here awake.
We had a tent up in the backyard.
It’s folded in the rain.

It held our sun-soaked conversations
For two weeks, or maybe one.
It’s broken down just like our love.
We’re both sprawled out on the ground.
